After eight to ten hours of hectic work in your office and travelling either by your car, taxi, bus or train, finally when you reach your home it’s almost 9pm, and by that time you are totally exhausted and tired.
As soon as you enter, your wife/mother/children ask how you are. How was your day? But you are not in mood to give a reply from your heart! You decide to go for a bath and you see that your bathroom is very much cleaned. Washed towel, soap etc. are all on its own place, your whole house is very much neat and tidy; you get your clean washed nightwear from your wardrobe. So you get everything on its own place and you feel happy.
So after a hot/cold bath, as soon as you get ready it’s almost 10pm, now you feel relaxed and what you see is that your dinner is ready on your dinning table. It’s very hot, delicious, and smells very nice too….. You immediately realize that this is your favourite dish….Hot Roti, Paneer makhanwala or bindi do pyaja, dal tadka, fried rice… etc
Now you are quite hungry and very quickly finish your dinner in the next 20 min while watching some TV serials or news along with talking to your daughter/son/wife/parents (you think that this is family time but actually it’s your TV time, you are with your TV and not with your family) and at about 11.15 pm you feel sleepy and you now fall down on your neatly made bed.
Now you are in your deep sleep and around 2.00 AM, I (God) wake you up and ask you,
‘Hello…My dear child how was your day? Did you get everything on its own place, did you get healthy food, clean water, nice clothes, cleaned bed, files and papers, respect, love etc.
Did you realize that SOMEBODY has been working the whole day in your absence at your home/office so that everything is proper? Whatever things or material or food you needed, what you enjoyed!
Listen carefully my dear child, I am guiding somebody every day to take care of you all. I am sending somebody behind you to help you. That somebody has put or invested his/her time in you and that person could be anyone. It may be your wife/husband, your maid/servant, your mother/father, your daughter/son, your room partner, your aunty, your brother/sister, may be your neighbour.
Did you say thank you to that person? Did you appreciate his/her work? Did you hug/love that person? Did you speak to that person with kind words and politeness? Did you say thank you before you went to sleep? Did you say thank you to your staff, your colleague, your subordinate, your peon who cleans your office every day, your office lift man, your office sales team? Did you say thanks to your company? Did you say thanks to your boss? Did you say thanks to all those helped you? Did you express your gratitude towards that somebody who cleaned your kitchen everyday after dinner?
If your answer is NO, than please RESPECT that person from today onwards; every single day; because always remember.
“IN YOUR ABSENCE SOMEBODY IS ALWAYS WORKING FOR YOU AND BECAUSE OF THOSE LITTLE EFFORTS FROM SOMEBODY, ALL YOUR WORK IS DONE PROPERLY! AND THAT SOMEBODY IS ME IN ALL LIVING THINGS”
bless you my child!!
